The Bank of England voted unanimously to maintain the key bank rate at a record low of 0.1% on May 7th 2020, in line with market forecasts.
The central bank expects the GDP to contract by 14% in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The inflation rate is seen falling to 0.6% and unemployment is like to rise to 8%.
