Important information regarding Turkish Lira

Dear Client,

The Turkish currency has been under mounting pressure amid rising inflation, growing unemployment and slow growth — and now, the highest number of coronavirus cases in the Middle East region. As a result, TRY plunged to its lowest level in history Thursday.

We believe that the situation will persist, and TRY volatility will continue for several days ahead. Spreads and swap rates of TRY pairs will be inevitable affected.

Please make sure your positions are properly monitored, needed risk measures are taken and your balance is enough to ensure your usual trading activity.

If you have any questions, please write to us at support@global-fx.com.
